    Merger Disclosure Mailing

    CJCU members received a mailing with important details about upcoming changes to accounts and loans, including required disclosures. No action is needed, but please read the information and keep it for your records. Continue using your CJCU accounts as usual.

  • Aug. 2025

    Letter Containing Account Number

    You’ll receive a letter with your new ACU account number, which you’ll use starting in September. This letter will also include instructions on how to enroll in the ACU online and mobile banking platforms once the transition occurs. Continue using your CJCU accounts as usual.

  • Armco Debit Card Delivery (If Applicable)

    If you currently use a CJCU debit card, you will receive a new Armco Mastercard® Debit Card in a separate mailing containing the card and additional details on the transition. Not all members will receive a debit card—only those who already use their CJCU debit card.

  • Aug. 29, 2025

    Operational Merger

    The Operational Merger will occur August 29 through September 1. This is when your day-to-day banking will move to Armco CU’s systems and services. You’ll begin using your new ACU account number, as well as ACU’s online banking and mobile app to access your accounts. CJCU’s systems, including their online/mobile banking and debit cards, will no longer be available after 6pm on August 29.

    ACTIVATION of Armco Mastercard® Debit Card

    You can ACTIVATE and begin using your new Armco Mastercard® Debit Card on Tuesday, Sept. 2. You must call the number on the sticker to activate.

ACCOUNT TRANSITION FAQs

This coverage is no longer available as of 6/1/25.

A new ATM will be installed at the Corry branch in early September. During this transition, the ATM may not be able to accept deposits or payments. In the meantime, please utilize the night depository for any deposits or payments that need to be conducted after hours.

If you actively utilize CJCU Bill Payment, your bill payment information will be transitioned to Armco CU Online Banking. Refer to the Armco CU fee schedule for updated fees. Additional information will be available mid-August.

If you have Courtesy Overdraft Privilege (Consumer or Business), you will retain your current selection. Armco CU offers $500 in Courtesy Pay protection. Your fee to utilize this service will be reduced from $35 to $25 per transaction.

All members will receive their closing statements from Corry Jamestown Credit Union after 8/31/25. Armco CU will be mailing a confirmation statement after 9/1/25.

Going forward, Armco CU sends monthly statements that arrive at the beginning of each month for checking and loans or each quarter for savings and certificates. You will receive a paper statement but can opt-in to eSTATEMENTS when you set up an Online Banking account.

If you are currently enrolled in eSTATEMENTS, you will receive a final paper statement from CJCU in the mail for the month of August. If you would like electronic copies of your CJCU eSTATEMENTS, you will need to download those in your CJCU online banking prior to 8/29/25. When you sign up for Armco CU online banking, you can opt-in to eSTATEMENTS and eNEWS at the same time.

Funds will be transferred to your Armco CU primary savings account on 10/15/25. See the Armco CU fee schedule for early withdraw penalty.

Contact the Corry branch in August to order your new checks (free of charge for the 1st order of basic style). You will be able to use your existing checks through 1/31/26. If you utilize overdraft protection, refer to the Armco CU fee schedule for updated fees. If you would like electronic copies of your CJCU check images, you will need to download those in your CJCU online banking prior to 8/29/25.

Armco CU offers a FREE Checking Account with no minimum balance required and no monthly fees.

All rates will be honored until original maturity. At maturity, existing Certificates will be converted to a 12-month Certificate. You will receive a letter before the maturity date describing your options. The penalty for early withdrawal will follow the Armco CU disclosed fees.

There will be NO changes to your CJCU Visa credit card at this time. Visa credit card account holders will receive a separate letter regarding your credit card in 2026.

As of 6 pm on 8/29/25, CJCU debit cards will no longer be active.

You will receive the Armco CU Mastercard Debit Card mid-August which may be activated 9/2/25. A travel money card may be obtained in advance, free of charge, for members that may need a card for purchases during this time period. Cash, checks and CJCU credit cards may be used during this period as well.

Armco CU participates in two different ATM networks, CUHere and CU$. Both networks provide surcharge-free ATM access to credit union members throughout the country. You may also access your money at surcharge-free ATMs located at any Sheetz or GetGo. An ATM locater is available on the website and through the mobile banking app.

Although the above listed non-Armco CU machines are surcharge free, they are considered foreign ATMs. Armco CU allows up to 10 foreign ATM transactions per month with no fees, and a $1 fee per transaction thereafter.

If you have Life/Disability/Unemployment Debt Protection products on your loans, you will receive a letter regarding this transition. Please contact the Corry branch for details.

Armco CU offers GAP Insurance and Debt Protection products, which may be added at any time to any existing loan.

No changes need to be made at this time. Should you choose to utilize your new Armco CU account number after 9/1/25, please contact the Corry branch for assistance.

Your final CJCU dividends for 8/1/25 through 8/31/25 will be included in the balance that is transferred over to your new Armco CU account. Your first Armco CU dividends for 9/1/25 through 9/30/25 will be posted on 10/1/25. Dividends are paid on the first day of each month moving forward.

There will be no change to your existing loan rate, payment due date, terms and conditions.

Payments may be made in the following ways:

  • Remit to the Corry branch in person or by maiI.
  • Internal transfers – If you have already established transfers utilizing your CJCU account(s) your payments will continue, and no action is needed.
  • Automated Clearing House (ACH)- If you currently have payments initiated by another financial institution, no action is needed. Armco CU now offers the ability to utilize ACH when making payments using an account at another financial institution. This service requires your new account information, which will be available mid-August. Please contact the Corry branch at that time for assistance in setting up this payment method.

Your current CJCU Online Banking access will be unavailable after 6 pm on 8/29/25. You may enroll in Online Banking at ArmcoCU.com after 9/1/25. Additional information will be available mid-August.

REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE (Mobile Check Deposit) will be unavailable after 8/27/25. You will be able to enroll for this service with online banking after 9/1/25.

Accounts will be converted to a secondary savings account at conversion.
